Their people are well versed in cat-language, very reliable, and extremely loving with our cat Peanut – whenever we arrive home he is always super well after his time with them!

It’s one of the best options for us when we need to be away.
Our boy is diabetic and we have complete trust in their care of him.

Samantha, just wanted to let you know that the care provided by Krystina and Noemi to our furbabies Gingko and Molly was first class.  They clearly got all of the love and attention they needed (both ways!), and it was good for us to know – so far away – that everything was under control.

Dear Janie, I cant begin to put into words how grateful Jesse and I are to have had you over the past week. With the detailed daily letters and photos and a tear jerking gift when we arrived home. I have never been so thankful to have you looking after our furbabies while on our honeymoon.

Just wanted to say we are SO impressed with West Island Cats !!!!! Not only did Krystina take excellent care of Teeny, the house and even watered my flowers, but she even took the time to leave us some goodies!

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing it felt to come home after an 81/2 hour flight to see not only my home in perfect order but our beloved cat happy, healthy and the cat litter cleaned!! Thank you sooo much to Krystina and we will always always use West Island Cats every time we travel! ?????

When our senior cat Minou was diagnosed with diabetes we were worried we would have trouble getting someone to give him his daily insulin shots. He’s a little set in his own ways and can be a bit cranky at times. Sam and her team didn’t even blink and they worked hard to make sure the transition was not stressful for him. We know that when we are away Minou is in safe and loving hands. It’s a relief for us to know we have sitters we can trust.

I tried a few different pet sitting agencies before I found West Island Cats.The difference is night and day. The sitters are wonderful. They’re caring, considerate, and my cat loves them. They know cats well. which is far more important than most sitters think.For example, they know how important it is to spend some social time with your furball each visit. They also know that the most valuable service they provide is peace of mind. They do their utmost to make sure you know your furry friend is well cared for and happy while you’re away. I’ve recommended without hesitation West Island Cats to all of my friends with cats.

My husband and I are the owners of a beautiful, extremely spoiled, soon to be 16 year old grey, wonderful pet. Through a good friend we learned of  “West Island Cats” and have used their services 3 times and with the exceptional care they give, we will continue being a client. Our little fellow tore his achilles tendon a few years ago and has a problem with his other paw hence he requires more attention than young, spry felines. He gets so much attention and care when we’re away, he seems to miss us but only slightly when we return. We can only say how pleased we are with this group as they take such special care of our wee pets as they do with the parents . I had an amazing experience with WIC. I get to go on work trips knowing my fur ball will be taken care of. The people at WIC welcome you back with cute gifts such as framed pictures and other cat accessories. They also provided me with some guidance with cat related questions. I am so happy with all of their services!

Shadow loves when Camille from West Island Cats comes to take care of her.  The services that they provide are really super, and they are in fact quite accommodating to my varied needs.  Sometimes I leave my cat with a friend a few doors away and West Island Cats is happy to go to my friend’s house if additional care is needed rather than mine on those occasions.  I love that Shadow’s routine does not change much when I have to leave town.  When I get back, she is very happy and excited when I get home.  She gets so much affection, with brushing and playing every day even when I’m not there.  I really love it when Camille sends me pictures of Shadow daily showing me that she is getting love and attention and is just fine.  It helps easy any anxiety I may have for not being there.  Thank you so much West Island Cats!!

I am very pleased with West Island Cats and feel so lucky to have found such a great service. I know that my cat Rocky gets plenty of love and playful activity when I’m away. West Island Cats has always been great to me and my crazy bengal! I have used them several times now and they always leave me 100% assured and comfortable that my kitty is in good hands. It has always been a struggle bringing strangers around Jax as it takes him a while to warm up, but as soon as he met both Carly and Carmela he warmed up to them right away like he always knew them! I always receive daily email updates with photos and videos. and he is spoiled with tons of love and attention and toys. It was late and I was up searching the internet for an “at home” petsitting service. Would the service be available for my days? Could I trust strange people with my two boys? Could I hand over the keys to my brand new house? I found West Island Cats, spoke with Sam and I knew! That crazy gut feeling and a good conversation assuaged my fears. The proof was there with my cats when we returned. Not only were my two cats taken care of (food, water and litter), but they were loved. West Island Cats has become an integral part of our travel plans. Just like booking a flight, reserving my catsitting is next on the list! Before WIC, our cats would be moody and sullen for about 24 hours; upset that we had left them on their own, cooped up in the house with nobody to snuggle and play with. Now, because of Michelle at WIC, my cats are probably bummed when we get home because our she gives them more love and attention than we do! Michelle sends us pictures, videos and emails telling us all about the cute and silly things our babies have been up to. It’s so reassuring to know they’re doing well while we’re gone. The peace of mind we get from WIC is really priceless. Finding WIC has been a game changer for us, I can’t recommend using WIC enough!

Micio is so well taken care of by West Island Cats that I think he misses the team when they leave. Not only does he get snuggles and brushes and games, but he forgets how much he loves food, if not for a couple of minutes. I highly recommend Samantha and her team. It is obvious they love cats and this affection is carried over in everything they do for our pets.

You know when you read about how someone goes above and beyond the call of duty? Well, here’s someone who really, truly does. I’ve only used Samantha’s services twice and already I can’t imagine NOT having her to rely on. I travel a lot, often on a moment’s notice, and Sam always goes out of her way (often literally!) to make sure Mimine is well cared for and loved. I found Samantha and West Island Cats through her Facebook page, and I’ve been lucky to have her come and look after my cat for nearly 2 years now. I travel a lot for work, and for fun, and she’s been incredibly reliable, flexible, and professional. I trust her 100% with the care of my 12 year old cat, and with my home. Noemi spent quality time with my four cats and much to my surprise even the shyest of my cats took a liking to Noemi.

Noemi sent me updates every day with pictures and videos and I felt at ease that my children were in safe hands. She printed and framed a picture for me which brought tears to my eyes. It was such a sweet gesture.

I had gone to the USA last week and was working 14 hr days. It was VERY important to me not to have to worry about my fur children. Noemi helped so much with putting my mind at ease so that I could focus on my work.
