Dogs do not arrive into the world knowing that they will need to be groomed or examined at the vet. They do not know what a thermometer is and where it will go, that nail clippers are in fact ok or that water isn’t just for swimming.

We would be left feeling violated and dread ever having to go back. The same principle exists in traditional grooming or an unprepared dog at a vet visit.
